Arch update: my script

After using Ubuntu/Debian for many years, I switched to Arch Linux in november 2023. And with the exception of using Linux on servers where software stability is needed, I believe I will never go back.

In this post I'm not going to explain my preference for Arch, why I like it, etc. No, it's about updating my installations. Taking a complete snapshot of the system and keeping it up-to-date would seem a simple task, but in reality it is not, so I've been slowly writing this script over the months to make my life easier.

This script can be used in conjunction with the archnewscheck tool.
